Bittersweet
I've decided the Boobie Juice fountain is now officially closed. I've been contemplating it for a few weeks now-but finally made the decision yesterday and am turning off the faucets.
I need my life back, I can no longer plan things in 3 hour intervals.
I feel good....and guilty about the decision. I want to breastfeed him for the first year, and I made it a week shy of 8 months. But I just can't do it anymore. I am to the point where I hate my pump, and my boobs. I don't want to hate my boobs....so I've decided to shut them down for this kid.
Who knows....they could re-open in a couple years, but as of today they are officially out of business.
I don't know what to expect from here - hopefully they won't explode in the next couple of days. I don't know what happens when you stop - but I have excellent cleavage for this week so I need to wear all my plunging necklines!
Hoping you all have a wonderful Easter next Sunday. Yep It's next Sunday, wow that snuck up on us quickly! Here's a little bunny to put you in the mood.

Baby Soup!
I can’t take credit for this adorable photo because I got the idea from Shanan – she sent me a photo of her adorable baby in a pot and I HAD to copy.
It didn’t dawn on me that her baby is two months younger and several pounds smaller! It took a while to find a pot big enough – This is a canning pot.
I wish I would have had a chef’s hat for his head. I had given him a wooden spoon but he was more interested in throwing it at me.
Don’t rush to call CPS on me, of COURSE the stove is not on, and you can’t tell but Mom is on one side of that picture and Mike is on the other ready to catch that baby if his pot tipped.
How can you not just eat him up?

The little milestones
This little man is growing like a weed! Everyday he changes, changes so fast and so quickly that I want him to stop (well, he can stop when the teething's over - it's not fun when his teeth hurt).
He's rolling over everyday now - so much and I know crawling is not very far away! This weekend Mike and I had lots of errands to run and hauling that baby car seat in and out of everywhere is not very easy so we thought we'd try to see if he was ready to sit up in the cart and Viola!! He could do it!! He did it at Target and Whole Foods and tonight he sat in a restaurant high chair! Again, these are the little milestones that he achieves that are so bittersweet for me.
He;s giving sloppy baby kisses now, the kind that come with licks and slurps and an occasional burp - they are glorious.
But it's not all kisses and hugs - this teething stuff is for the birds!! He cried all afternoon today and was only not crying when being held - and I haven't yet figured out how to teach my Biology homework to do itself yet. So it isn't done. Erik is fussy fussy, which is hard to see on my little happy man, but once those teeth are in I'm hoping he will be back to his happy self.
Well....off I go to teach that Biology homework how to do itself.

I can't help it!
I know, lots of posts lately, but OMG have you seen this boy? I can feel you all rolling your eyes right now. He's been trying out new laughs, and this is his Dudley Dooright Evil laugh. It's pretty dang adorable about 20 seconds in!
